Our airbag module reset service is for our customers who are repairing a damaged vehicle with the airbags deployed. After replacing the airbags there will still be an airbag light on the dashboard. To get this light to go off there are a few options. Option 1 is to purchase a brand new module from the dealers, this is the least desirable due to the high cost associated.
Option 2 is to purchase a second hand module, these can often be found for low prices on Ebay. The down side to this option is that the second hand module will need coding to your vehicle, this service can increase the cost back into the hundreds.
Finally option 3 is to Reset your original module - this is the service we offer. This is a low cost and it does not require the airbag module to be programmed back in to your vehicle.
Resetting airbag modules is 100% safe, once reset the light will go off the dashboard and the airbag system will be back to how it was before the accident (as long as all of the deployed airbags have been replaced). Our service is simple, you send us your module in the post, we will have it reset within 24 hours and back in the post on its way back to you.
